The World's largest cable ski and the first site of water skiing in the Middle East was opened in Kish last month.
BENA- Kish Island, measuring 92 square kilometers in area with a population of 25 thousand, is one the world's most beautiful coral Islands.
This scenic Island is an ideal destination for tourists and families in particular to rest and relax as reported by the Public Relations and int'l Affairs of Kish Free Zone Organization.
Marine and water sports are among the exciting and fun activities for tourists and travelers as well.
Kish Cable Ski is 860 meters long and 160 meters wide with 5 towers installed in the azure waters of the Persian Gulf and is operated at a speed of 28 up to 62 km/h. The site allows 12 riders to water-ski simultaneously.
The park facilities include a booking office, full changing facilities with showers, starting platform, a training room and pro shop on site as well as a restaurant and a coffee shop. This attraction is located at one of the most beautiful areas of Kish Island on the eastern silver sandy beaches fringed by a long line of many swaying coconut trees and some aged banyan (Lour) trees, etc. with several gazebos along the coastline, near the Grand Recreational Pier and the Gents' Beach. Car parking space is also available.
