Please explain in a nutshell about economic and investment activities of Aras free zone?
As you know Aras free zone has 51 thousand hectare extent is standing in marginal strips of Armenia,Nakhjavan and Azerbaijan.Total done investment in this area is 9 thousand milliard RS in internal investment since 1384 and 865 milliard RS in foreign investment.Actual investment done as yet was 120 milliard RS in internal investment and 43 milliard dollar in foreign investment.We had 132 milliard dollars export in 1391 that 92 million dollar of this amount was export of area products and the remaining is related export to the main land from Aras free zone.
How many production units are in the area?
Number of active units that achieve operational is 60 production unit.1184 company is the total recorded companies in the area that is in industrial ,commercial and service sections and from this number 485 company is registered in 1391.
Registered companies applied job in which sections?
139 companies in production section,210 companies in commercial section and 136 companies in service section.Also there are 700 commercial and guild unit in the area. Two big marginal marketsis doing activities in Jolfa.
Now these active production units have activities in which sections?
In loom, car, refinery, clothing production, household accessories and furniture sections.
How is the measure of human power occupation in industrial and production units?
We have 1700 person in industrial section,500 person in construction section and 252 person in service and commercial sections that is 2452 person totally except administrative powers and state organizations.
How you evaluate the commodity transit situation in the past year?
The foreign transit mass was 86 milliard RS or 57 million dollar in 1391 that had 40 percent growth than last year. There are 29 store for depot commodity maintenance with 114 thousand mm area for industries masters.112 commercial card are established for businessmen in this area. I should pointed to 253 milliard RS production in1391 that had 60 thousand ton weighted value. The value of total products was 1032 milliard RS with 262 thousand ton of weighted value since 1389 until 1391 just before official operational of the area.
How is the relation of organization with custom section?
There is a good interaction in this section. We will operate related process to following escort commodity in Aras ,Arvand and Anzali free zones. By this plan another evolution has been done so by suitable investment we hope to see increase in this section.
Which plans do you have in second industrial phase in Aras free zone?
We have no empty land in 26 hectare of this phase and all companies are building.
By suggestion of economic and investment assistance and agreement of organization manager, maybe 300 hectare is added to this phase.
Which actions done by economic assistant of organization for absorption process?
Suitable information done in this field. Presentation of investment opportunities and presence in foreign exhibition like Georgia caused improvement of memorandum contract process.
What are the influences of presence in these exhibitions for free zones specially purpose markets?
Fortunately Aras free zone can has good purpose market with central Asia countries. Lately in our travel to Georgia we have multiple meetings with Iranian resident investors an investment in Aras was so impressive.
How is your relation with producers of this zone?
There is direct relation. We have regular meetings and period visit so we know about their problems.
