Vice president says, Iran will provide governmental facilities in order to encourage foreign investors for opening banks in free zones.
BENA- '' Iranian government has passed a law recently according to it, foreign investors who establish bank in Iranian free zones will benefit from facilities,'' said vice president and head of ICHTO Hamid Baghaei while visiting Italy ambassador to Tehran Alberto Bradanini.
According to regulation of Islamic Republic of Iran, opening bank here needs the primary capital of $ 400 million, he added.
It is possible for foreign investors to pay the 65 percent of cash via cash and the rest by credit, he noted.
Foreign banks open branch in free zones can open other branches all over the country, he stressed.
The steps will lay ground for expansion of economic tie between the two sides, he remarked.
There are 7 free and 56 special economic zones all over the country, Baghaei continued.
