Director of Qeshm Geo Park say, Qeshm Geo Park as the sole geo park in the Middle East is bale to compte with European geo parks.
BENA- '' Qeshm geo park not only has been effective in daily life of local but also reveal the name of Persian Gulf and Iran in the world,'' said director of Qeshm Geo Park Mohammad Reza Qasemi.
Qeshm Geo park play effective role in creating job opportunities in the region, he added.
Qeshm Geopark is located in western part of Qeshm Island and is one of the world’s largest salt cave. It is 6,000 meters long and as unique characteristics.
A Geopark is a nationally protected area containing a number of geological heritage sites of particular importance, rarity or aesthetic appeal, with high historical and cultural interest and huge biodiversity.
