Planning deputy to Coordination Council of Free Zones said: Imam Khomeini- Shalamche- Basra railway with the length of 140 km will be constructed.
BENA- '' Regarding to importance of Imam Khomeini port in Iran – Iraq trade, a private company expressed its willingness to construct railway,'' said Seyyed Mahmoud Reza Hosseini.
Arvand Free Zone is obliged to provide investor with land and necessary infrastructures, he added.
It is about 110 km from Imam Khomeini port to Shalamche and from Shalamche to Basra 32 km, he noted.
