The procedures for renovation of Portuguese castle was scrutinize in presence of Portuguese ambassador to Tehran and Managing director of Qeshm Free Zone.
BENA- '' It seems necessary both Iran and Portuguese cooperate with each other in order to renovate Portuguese castle,'' said managing director of Qeshm Free Zone Seeyed Reza mousawi.
Tourism industry consider as a wealth for all people all over the world, he added.
George Karbel Portuguese ambassador for his part said;'' Portuguese is ready to cooperate with Iran for renovation castle.
Portuguese castle as a cultural site remaining in Iran can play effective role in exchange of culture between the two sides, he stressed.
This castle was built in the year 1030 AH. to the north east of this island under the decree of the Spanish monarch of the times. The same has two ramparts and towers in the four corners. Within the castle a number of extremely ancient and rusty canons remain to date.
