BENA- '' The shrimp will be cultivated in seven large ponds,'' general director of Qeshm Free Zone Seyyed Reza Mousawi said.
The project in total span of 38 hectares cultivates some 5 million of larval, he added.
Investors in fishery sector and marine foods can take advantage of Qeshm potentials, he stressed.
China and Thailand are the major producers of shrimp in the world and in the Middle East Iran and Saudi Arabia are important producers, he stressed.
''Hourmozgan province has potentials for cultivating shrimp in total area of 50 hectares, ''Mousavi said.
