In the first 9 months of this year, more than 8000 tons industrial goods have been produced in 70 manufacturing and industrial units in the Aras free zone that had 35 % of the growth over the previous year. director of Aras free zone organization with announcement of these news added in the first 9 months of this year , more than 205 billion and 900 million Tomans by weighting over 58000 tons of different goods and oil and non – oil goods . Produced in Aras free zone and was shipped internal and external market.
Sadeq Najafi said , in this period the produced products in various manufacturing fields such as textile industry , petrochemical oil , polyethylene ,, auto motive , battery , food , urban and home furniture are in 70 manufacturing and industrial units that are issued the main of these products to the Georgia , Armenia, Azerbaijan , Turkmenistan , Afghanistan , Pakistan , turkey , Germany , UAE , and European countries.
Najafi said , also in the first 9 month of this year have recorded 300 companies that have been registered 48 companies with manufacturing activities , 13.5 storage and trading company , 95 development service company and 20 tourism and cultural company.
Najafi added the main exported goods resulting from manufacturing of Aras free zone in this period have been meaty cake , view of poly styrene , gasoline , fuel oil , industrial oils , kerosene, plastic bags ,many thread types , cabinet screen , painted of different metal base , microwave , truck tractor and children’s play entertainment in parks .
Director of Aras free zone organization said : now , 70 manufacturing and industrial unit are working in the Aras free zone that have activity in various manufacturing fields such as textile industry , petro chemical , oil , polyethylene , automotive , battery , food and urban and home furniture .
Aras free zone with a total area of 51000 hectares is the largest free zone and has four separate areas of the city of Julfa and Khodaafrin in east Azerbaijan province.
