With the Presence of Vice President and Secretary of the Coordinating Council of Free Zones and Special Economic Zones Projects and Plans began for the development of tourism in Kish Island.

The building of new terminal in Kish International Airport, which was adopted in 1385 and its constructing began this year (15 April this year) will end in 1395.
The terminal area is about 38 thousand square based on international standards and has been designed by using modern technologies.
Airport's new terminal is built in north of Kish International Airport, including inbound and outbound domestic and international departures hall, VIP, CIP, and the facility room. The project is estimated to cost 130 billion Tomans.
- Kish Island Airport Development Project is a priority
Executive Vice President Hamid Baghaei referring to the high number of passengers entering and leaving the Kish International Airport said: Airport traffic in Kish Island at some time in year is high and it is the second level of airport traffic after Tehran's Mehrabad Airport so airport development project is a priority plan.
- It is essential to invest in tourism sector
Safari tourism complex was another destination that Hamid Baghaei opened it as a tourism project. This project is funded by the private sector which has special way for car riding and camel riding in the desert hills and steeps.
Hamid Baghaei outlined Kish Island tourism development one of the most important priorities and said: Investment in the tourism industry and sport field attract more tourists and make more jobs opportunities.
Also, executive vice president announced readiness of government to support the plan of the Satellite Broadcasting Network of Kish Island.
To visit Kish Hospital Development Plan
Free Zones and Special Economic Coordination Council also attended the Kish Hospital Development Plan process and visited the hospital.
Construction of Kish Hospital development project will end in June this year and over 2400 m² of space, including the emergency department, hospital, laboratory and MRI, will be added to the hospital.
Kish Hospital pediatric ward with 8 beds, its part of the ICU (intensive care infants), respiratory isolation and the library, was put into operation by the presence of executive vice president.
Dr.Azar Mehr hospital chief said: according to dozens of monthly visits for MRI of the brain and nervous at the hospital, it is necessary to purchase and operate MRI machines.
In addition to these projects Hamid Baghaei opened Damoon Complex shopping center. The shopping center was built in the area of 13 thousand square meters on the East of Island and 110 booths.
