Mr. Whitehed, ambassador of South Africa visited Amirabad port and its facilities; he spoke with Mr. Naeemi, the manager of this area.
According to the report of indicative base in specific-economic and free zones, Mr. Naeemi talked about advantages of this port and introduced great facilities of the biggest port in Khazar Sea, then he entrusted the meeting to Dr. Moghimi, representative of Behshahr, Neka and Galoogah.
Moghimi pointed to high capacity of Amirabad port, he thanked the managers of commercial room in Mazandaran for their important role in economic communications.
He said: Amirabad port is strategic point in Mazandaran and profit suitable situation in marine traffic so we should use created capacities completely.
He pointed to important role of Amirabad port in export and import and transit and said: manager use their ability for protecting ports, seafaring and Amirabad specific-economic zone that cause good changes in operation of this port.
Ambassador of South Africa pointed to commercial and economic communications with Iran and said: one of my duties in this travel is investigation of various abilities of provinces that can be useful in development of commercial communications between two countries.
He knew Mazandaran very suitable in production, agriculture, various industries, ports and seafaring.
