Some $ 40 billion foreign investment has been made in Iranian free and specific economic zones from the beginning of construction, director of Free & Specific Economic Zones Coordination Council announced.
BENA- Bagahei made the remark in news conference of and said that,'' over 88000 employees are working in 16 specific economic zones.
Local investors are willing to increase investment but the priority of free zones is to attract foreign investors, he added.
