Iran will hold an international symposium to be attended by 200 foreign investors in its Persian Gulf island resort of Kish from December 20 to 23.
BENA- ''The conference will consist of six specialized panels including industry and mines, tourism, oil, gas and petrochemicals, water and agriculture, free and special economic zones, city development and infrastructure,'' said Behrouz Alishiri Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance.
The director of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI) noted that privatization in Iran followed a positive trend, and added, the increase in the country’s bourse index shows that the stock exchange can be considered as one of the better choices for investment.
He expressed readiness to offer $100 billion worth of foreign investment projects during the conference.
