Managing director of Qeshm Free Zone says the first marine city of the country will be established in country.
BENA - '' The act will answer to lots of trade demand in marine field,'' said Seyyed Reza Mousavi.
Some 300 large ship and 350 small ones are floating in the country sea but there isn’t proper place for their maintenance and repair, it seems necessary to establish marine city, he added.
10 to 15 percent of ship repair inside the country and the rest of it conduct in Persian Gulf Littoral States, he noted.
Qeshm enjoys better condition in contrast with important marine cities like Bahrain, Dubai and Singapore, he stressed.
All companies and organizations relating to sea can collaborate with Qeshm Free Zone in constructing marine city, he remarked.
